Teaching Approach
My teaching interests focus on connecting quantitative methods with real-world environmental and policy questions. I am particularly interested in teaching how mathematical models, data analysis, and scenario-based reasoning can be used to study complex human–Earth systems and inform decision-making under uncertainty. I also value a balance of conceptual understanding, computational practice, and applied problem solving, with examples drawn from climate, energy, environmental health, and public policy.
